03 The Thar Group
Thirty-five years of trust, one family.
Our story starts with Thar & Co., a chartered accountancy firm founded by Mr. Jayesh R. Thar, which has served clients in finance and professional services for more than three decades.
Its standards of excellence and integrity carried the Thar Group into finance, professional services and real estate (JRT Homes). Thar Commercial Finance is the group’s NBFC.

Incorporated by the Mehta Group as India Advantage Finance Private Limited.

The Thar Group takes over control and management and renames the company Thar Commercial Finance Pvt. Ltd.

Ventures into wholesale lending.

Capital infusion of ₹65 Cr by the promoter.

Borrowing partnerships with ICICI Bank and South Indian Bank; retail MSME and healthcare lending begin, with a move towards digital lending.
